Welcome to EasyFabric
EasyFabric is the premier automation solution for Microsoft Fabric. It enables organizations to deploy a complete, best-practice data platform in minutes, rather than weeks.
With EasyFabric, you move from manual configuration to Automated Deployment, ensuring consistency, security, and rapid time-to-value.
Words like medallion, lakehouse, SPN or service connection will appear before they're defined. Skim the Jargon Buster first — it's a one-page glossary written for newcomers.
Why EasyFabric?
Getting started with EasyFabric is designed to be accessible. Whether you are a Data Engineer looking to automate repetitive tasks or a Business Analyst needing a reliable data foundation, EasyFabric provides the tools to succeed.
Within minutes, you can generate powerful Fabric models that unlock advanced capabilities—capabilities that are often difficult or time-consuming to implement manually.
🚀 Getting Started in 3 Steps
- Bootstrap: Run
/setup-easyfabricin Claude Code from an empty folder. The agent downloads the platform release, interviews you for tenant/workspace values, and patches the configuration. - Deploy: Push the initialised folder to Azure DevOps; the included pipeline creates the Lakehouses, Tables, and supporting objects in Microsoft Fabric.
- Analyze: Access your data immediately in Power BI or AI models.
What you'll need
- Azure DevOps: For your repository and pipelines.
- Fabric Capacity: A workspace where your data will live.
- EasyFabric License: To activate the automation engine.
- Claude Code (recommended): For the
/setup-easyfabricagent-driven bootstrap. A manual fallback is documented on the same page.
- Zero-to-deployed: bootstrap with
/setup-easyfabric— downloads the platform release, patches your YAML config, and walks through the Entra/Azure/Fabric prerequisites. - Add your first source/table: once the project is initialised, head to the Basics tutorials.
📦 What's Included?
Out of the box, EasyFabric sets up a complete Medallion Architecture:
- Bronze Layer: Automated landing of raw data from your sources.
- Silver Layer: Cleaned, standardized data with built-in quality checks.
- Gold Layer: Business-ready data models and transformations.
- Semantic Models: Pre-configured relationships for instant reporting.
